Here are the most important anwers of frequently asked questions. By unclaritys you have the possibilty to contact us by email or phone.

Towels and bedclothes
It is not necessary to bring towels and bedclothes. Everything you need is provided for.

Minimal booking
A minimal booking for two nights (Ap.1+2) or 3 (Ap.3,4+5) is required.

Check-in / Check.out
Check-in is usually between 2.00 pm and 8.00 pm and you can stay in the Apartment until 11.00 am the day of your depature. In case your apartment is not reserved for new visitors check-out time can be discussed individually. Feel free to ask.

Keys
Before you come to Berlin we will already have agreed about the time and place for handing out the keys. If, unfortunately, you cannot be there in time please contact us. Usually keys are handed out at the apartment.

Deposit
Once we've confirmed your booking you have to pay 50% of the total rent within three days after the confirmation. The money should be there within five days. The remaining rent has to be paid when keys are handed out. Alternativley the complete rent can be transferred ahead of your arrival.

Public parking
Parking space in the vicinity of the apartment, free public parking is available.

Demage deposit
We ask you to leave a deposit of 100-200€. The deposit will be completely refunded the day of your departure unless there is damage in the apartment caused by you. In that case the corresponding value will be taken from your deposit.

Smoking
Smoking is not allowed in any of our apartments.

Cleaning
You will find a clean, tidy partment which will be cleaned after your departure. We expect you, however, that you will leave the apartment in a tidy and acceptable state.

Short distance fare for taxis
For riding short distances up to 2 kms we recommend to grab a taxi on the street by just waving so you'll only be charged with a 'Kurzstrecken-Tarif' of 3,50€. With this tariff up to 4 people can share a ride once you've told the driver that you want to take a 'Kurzstrecke' (short distance). This is essential!

Eco-zone in the inner city of Berlin
Since 2008, January 1st there is a zone called 'Umweltzone' at the inner city of Berlin. Only vehicles that fulfill certain criteria concerning fumes and have a vignette called 'Umweltplakette' are allowed to drive within this zone. You can get it at TÜV, at most car repairs and online for about 10€.
